How I create my designs

How I create my designs

When people ask me how I create my space-themed designs, they're often surprised by the journey that led me here. My love for digital art started quite early—when I was just 12 years old, playing text-based mafia games. Players needed custom profile header images, and I found myself naturally drawn to creating them. It was during those early days, experimenting with vibrant neon digital art styles, that I discovered my passion for bold, eye-catching graphics.

Back then, I didn't have professional software like Photoshop. Instead, I taught myself to create using various accessible tools, initially exploring browser-based editors and simpler image manipulation programs. I learned to blend colors, create glowing neon effects, and develop compositions that stood out even within the limited canvas of a game profile header.

After those formative years, it took nearly a decade before my artistic journey turned heavily toward space and galaxies. Inspired by my longstanding interest in sci-fi, particularly Star Wars and Star Trek, my artwork gradually shifted toward cosmic themes. I became fascinated by the vastness, the complexity, and the sheer beauty of the universe—captivated by how color and light interacted in the infinite expanse.

Today, I utilize a range of professional software to bring my space-inspired visions to life. While Photoshop is integral to my workflow, much of my initial design and conceptual work happens on my iPad Pro. Apps like Procreate and Affinity Designer are invaluable tools, allowing me to sketch concepts freely, experiment dynamically with color palettes, and precisely refine my neon effects and cosmic textures. These apps provide intuitive control and flexibility, perfect for translating ideas into vibrant visuals.

I particularly love experimenting with color, imagining how electricity, glowing particles, and radiant energy might dance across the cosmos. Every design I produce is the result of extensive exploration and iteration. I often create upwards of ten distinct designs, exploring different compositions, color interactions, and effects before selecting just one to finalize and add to my product line.

This process, though time-consuming, is critical because each final design needs to meet the high standards I've set for my brand, Infinite Mouse Mats. I aim to ensure every product not only captures the wonder of space but also offers something unique, dynamic, and visually arresting.

Creating space-themed artwork is more than just an artistic outlet for me—it's a way to continuously reconnect with my childhood fascination, my journey through digital art, and my love for vibrant, captivating visuals. Each design tells its own story, rooted deeply in experimentation, passion, and a lifelong dedication to perfecting the craft.

Thank you for joining me on this cosmic journey. Every mouse mat I create carries a piece of my creative heart and a touch of infinite inspiration.
